This is my divorce album. Although not formally married to the woman who inspired it, the relationship lasted ten years and produced a son. I have been in many relationships and have left some intentionally and been booted out of others. However when there is a child or children involved the emotional turmoil caused by the break up is multiplied exponentially by numbers too vast to contemplate.

I teamed up with David (Smiley) Burns (ex Moffs) an accomplished bass player and keyboard player and he even managed to play some banjo on one track, who is also a separated father. We decided on the band name Horizon Shine because it implied light at the end of a very dark tunnel.
